WATER BAPTISMS IN
UGANDA
One of the things we’ve been sharing here in the school is
about water baptism. We talked about how
Peter and the 12 baptized those who gave their hearts to the Lord on the Day of
Pentecost. Several in the class had not
had water baptism and there were several new converts that needed to be baptized. So we arranged with a local hotel to use
their swimming pool in the evening when it was closed for swimming. Four from the school and 5 new believers from
the outreach we are working with made a public statement of their faith in
Jesus by being immersed in water. It
also gave the students an opportunity to see how water baptism is done and
actually minister water baptism to other believers. Praise God for these new members of the body
of Christ. Please continue to keep the
school in your prayers as we finish this week.
