Good things are happening here at BASIC School Uganda. Fifteen young people are here ready to learn
how to be “Ministers of The Gospel.” We
meet each morning at 9AM for class time where they learn about walking with The
Lord, and fulfilling the ministry He has given them. Their afternoons are spent doing the lessons
for the next day. In the evenings we
meet by solar powered battery lanterns (there is no electricity in the place
they are staying) and talk about the things on their heart and the issues they
face as street ministers.
Today (October 9th) is Uganda’s Independence Day.
Some of the students are carrying the cross we used in Kampala through the
slums of Mbale and ministering to the people.
Thank you so much for your prayers and support as the students prepare
to reach Uganda and the world with the good news of Jesus. Will try to keep you updated as we have
opportunity.
